Showa Shell Sekiyu announces the following updates in its Executive Officers with effect from 31 July 2014. The purpose of these changes is to address strategically important areas in the Oil and Energy Solution segments with a high degree of focus and expertise in a rapidly-changing business environment.
The Oil Business will strategically review its structure to respond to the business environment. The Power Business will focus on growth and strengthen its organization in preparation for a growth period. The Solar Business will aim to quickly implement its strategies for global expansion.
The primary updates to the organization include:

  1. The establishment of an Executive Officer in charge of portfolio development;
  2. The management team of the solar business fully dedicating their efforts to Solar Frontier K.K.
