Shinepukur Ceramics Limited reported audited consolidated earnings results for the full year ended June 30, 2018. For the period, the company reported revenue of BDT 1,528,643,124 against BDT 1,437,866,858 a year ago. Profit from operations was BDT 236,253,637 against BDT 223,790,163 a year ago. Net profit before tax was BDT 81,404,573 against BDT 22,553,344 a year ago. Net profit after tax for the year was BDT 61,548,030 against BDT 8,292,758 a year ago. Earnings per share was BDT 0.42 against BDT 0.06 a year ago.
Shinepukur Ceramics Limited is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Porcelain and Bone China Tableware, which it sells in the local, as well as international markets. The Company has its operations and investments across a range of industries, including textiles, pharmaceuticals, trading, ceramics, information & communication technologies, media, marine food, real estate development, construction, financial services and energy. The Company has a tableware production of approximately 15,000 pieces of Bone China and 50,000 pieces of Porcelain Tableware are produced per day. The Company has customers from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, India, Egypt and Russia. Its manufacturing facility is on over 19.24 acres of land, located in the BEXIMCO Industrial Park with a total covered area of 588,000 square feet.
