VALLEY CITY, Ohio (AP) _ Shiloh Industries Inc. (SHLO) on Thursday reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $58.7 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Valley City, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of $2.47 per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and pretax expenses, came to $1.03 per share.

The automotive lightweighting company posted revenue of $157.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $1.66. A year ago, they were trading at $5.02.
