sCrypt Inc. announced a new smart contract transpiler designed to convert code written in Ethereum's Solidity language into Bitcoin Script. Now, developers interested in building on Bitcoin SV can shift over to the program easily and in less than one hour. An essential component to blockchain functionality, smart contracts are used to automate a workflow and ultimately trigger actions on-chain when predetermined conditions are met.

Although smart contracts have historically taken as long as years to develop, sCrypt's transpiler is designed to port existing smart contract code, which would include most of the heavy lifting. The BSV Bitcoin Association is a non-profit organization that brings together enterprises and developers in its blockchain ecosystem. Due to its scalability and extremely low transaction fees compared to other blockchain protocols, BSV recently reached 1 billion transactions in March, making it the world's most used blockchain to-date.
