Unishippers Global Logistics, LLC entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Worldwide Express Operations, LLC from Quad-C Management, Inc. and others on January 17, 2017. Post acquisition, Unishippers Global Logistics and Worldwide Express Operations will merge and form a new entity called as Worldwide Express Global Logistics. The transaction has received HSR approval and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017. Fidus Partners, LLC and Harris Williams LLC acted as financial advisors and White & Case LLP acted as legal advisor to Quad-C and Worldwide Express. Margaret Gibson, Christopher Thomas, Eric Sieversten, Louis Hernandez, Adam Clifford, Romain Dambre, Rosalyn Flores, Andrew Struckmeyer and Evan Palenchat of Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal advisor to Ridgemont Equity Partners. Piper Jaffray acted as financial advisor to Unishippers Global Logistics, LLC.
