Sanko Metal Industrial Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the third quarter ended December 2019. For the quarter, the company's net sales were JPY 24,859 million compared to JPY 26,165 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,650 compared to JPY 1,884 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 1,075 million or JPY 278.94 per basic share compared to JPY 1,233 million or JPY 319.78 per basic share.
The company provided earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2020. For the year, the company expected net sales of JPY 35,700 million, operating profit of JPY 2,040 million and profit of JPY 1,260 million or JPY 326.76 per basic share.
