Tokyo Derica Co., Ltd. (TSE:9990) entered into a contract to acquire Aishin Tsusho Co., Ltd. and Lojel Japan Corporation from Masaaki Soma and 1 other shareholder for ¥1.1 billion on September 5, 2012. Tokyo will acquire 0.08 million shares of Aishin from Masaaki Soma for approximately ¥890 million and will acquire 800 shares in Lojel from Masaaki Soma and 1 other shareholder for approximately ¥220 million. Aishin had total assets of ¥923 million, net assets of ¥813 million, sales of ¥1.69 billion, operating profit of ¥228 million, current profit of ¥235 million and net income of ¥134 million for year ending March 2012 while Lojel had total assets of ¥883 million, net assets of ¥257 million, sales of ¥2.18 billion, operating profit of ¥24 million, current profit of ¥64 million and net income of ¥41 million for year ending March 2012.

The Board of Directors of Tokyo resolved the transaction on September 5, 2012. The share acquisition is scheduled on October 1, 2012.
