LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) _ S&W Seed Co. (SANW) on Wednesday reported a loss of $4.8 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

The Longmont, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents per share.

The alfalfa seed company posted revenue of $25.9 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $19.7 million, or 59 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $79.6 million.

S&W Seed expects full-year revenue in the range of $88 million to $94 million.

The company's shares closed at $2.83. A year ago, they were trading at $2.48.
