Ryanair launches €49 Spanair rescue fareRyanair, the World's favourite airline, today (27th
Jan), launched a €49 (one way including taxes and charges)
rescue fare* for SPANAIR passengers who may have been left
stranded or have had their travel plans disrupted by the
bankruptcy of the airline today.
This fare applies to flights on the following routes.

Ryanair also pledged to assist with the repatriation
of passengers who may be caught up in any future airline
collapse and advised passengers that the best way to ensure
travel plans are protected is to travel only with
financially secure airlines such as Ryanair.
Ryanair's rescue fare can only be booked via until 4th February for travel until 12th February, and applies to SPANAIR passengers only.
Ryanair's Stephen McNamara said:
"SPANAIR's failure underlines the risk of flying with an airline that is not financially stable. Ryanair will help stranded passengers return home and ensure that those with travel plans up to 12th February can still travel.
Ryanair has the biggest route network in Europe
making it easier for stranded SPANAIR passengers to find a
local airport and return home. SPANAIR passengers can book
these rescue fares for only €49 including taxes and charges
viauntil 12th February.

and passengers must bring their SPANAIR booking reference for verification at the airport check-in point. Passengers who arrive to check-in without their SPANAIR booking reference cannot be accepted for travel.
