Rio Bravo Oil, Inc. (RIOB) is an exploration-stage company. The Company is focused on the oil and gas industry. It is an independent energy and production company with a focus on development of proven undeveloped reservoirs and expansion of fields through unconventional methods of resource development. Rio Bravo Oil's leasehold position in the Salt Flat and Luling Branyon field has positioned to expand through focused drilling in a productive environment. The Company currently holds certain participating interests located primarily in the Salt Flat and Luling Branyon fields in Caldwell and Guadalupe Counties, Texas. Production in these fields is primarily from the Lower Cretaceous Edwards Formation and Buda Formations in the acreage held by Rio Bravo. At December 31, 2013, its estimated proved reserves were approximately 249 million barrels of oil equivalent (MBoe).
