The Kookynie Gold Project is located in the northern Goldfields region of Western Australia, covering an area of approximately 15 square kilometers (km2) within the North Coolgardie Mineral Field. The Project is approximately 150 kilometers (km) north of Kalgoorlie and 55km south of Leonora Township, and 50 km northeast of Menzies.
