Castleton is helping protect our customers against Spectre & Meltdown; critical vulnerabilities in modern processors that can leak passwords and sensitive data.

Spectre and Meltdown have the ability to create havoc with all technology devices running nearly every desktop and mobile operating system. Spectre and Meltdown exploit critical vulnerabilities in processors manufactured in the last 20 years. These hardware vulnerabilities can allow attackers to steal data which was is currently processed on the computer or device, and was previously considered completely protected.

If your computer has a vulnerable processor and runs an unpatched operating system, it is not safe to work with sensitive information without the chance of leaking the information. Understanding which patch releases need applying is a huge challenge, and is often confusing and unreliable.
