Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. announced Guy J. Constant’s employment was terminated without cause. Mr. Constant served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from January 2019 until his departure, and prior to that served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since December 2016. Effective immediately and during the external search, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, Michael Buchmeier, will assume responsibility for the Company’s operations as interim Chief Operating Officer. There is no change in compensation for Mr. Buchmeier based on these changes.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, primarily operates, franchises, and develops casual dining restaurants in North America. The Company's menu features its signature product, a line of Gourmet Burgers with layers of fresh ingredients and fresh ground beef. It serves an array of other mainstream items, such as Donatos pizza, wings, salads, other entrees, and desserts. The Companyâs beverage categories include alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty drinks, cocktails, wine, and a variety of national and craft beers.
