Reading International, Inc. Appoints Ellen Cotter as President and Chief Executive Officer

Reading International, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Ellen Cotter as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Ms. Cotter has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since June 12, 2015, and has worked at Reading in various capacities since 1998, and for the past 15 years, has served as the senior operating officer of the Company's US cinema operations. Ms. Cotter has been a member of Reading International's Board of Directors since March 2013 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in August 2014.
Reading International, Inc. is an entertainment and real estate company. The Company is engaged in the development, ownership, and operation of cinemas and retail and commercial real estate in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand. The Companyâs segments are Theatrical Motion Picture Exhibition (Cinema Exhibition), and Real Estate. The Cinema Exhibition segment is engaged in cinema experiences for its guests through hospitality-styled comfort and service, state-of-the-art cinematic presentation, designed venues, curated film, and event programming, and crafted food and beverage options.
