Steward Partners Global Advisory, LLC associated with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. (member FINRA/SIPC) announced it has opened a new office in Portland, Maine, making it their 17th location nationwide and first within the Pine Tree State. In addition, they've recruited several new advisors who'll be based in the new space. Ralph Good, CFP® and James Nylund, CFP® who comprise the newly formed GoodNylund Wealth Management Group, have joined Steward Partners as a Managing Director and Vice President, respectively. Christine Balfour, their longtime associate, also joins the firm. The new GoodNylund team joins from Wells Fargo, where they oversaw $200 million in client assets. Adam Dunbar, also formerly of Wells Fargo, has joined Steward Partners as a Senior Vice President and will lead his own team with roughly $138 million in client assets. Dunbar's colleague, Jackie Gervais, also joins the firm. Dunbar, Gervais and the GoodNylund team will be based out of the new Portland office. Dunbar and the GoodNylund Wealth Management Group represent the first group of advisors to join Steward Partners this year after a successful year of growth in 2018. With this new location in Maine, Steward now operates 17 offices across 11 states and the District of Columbia, and is maintaining its ambitious plan to continue upward as one of the fastest growing full-service independent partnerships in the country.
