Its Merck Serono prescription division produces and manufactures ethical drugs; the products under this division are categorized into six lines: cardiovascular, metabolic, neuro, general, biotech Serono and oncology. Its chemical division is further classified into two groups: Merck Millipore, offering products and services for the life science industry, and performance materials, offering high technology performance chemicals for cosmetics and packaging, coating, pigment and security industries.
