PRONEXUS Establishes Sustainability Committee

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 15, 2022-PRONEXUS INC. ("PRONEXUS") announced that the Board of Directors resolved, at a meeting today, to establish a Sustainability Committee, as detailed below.

1. Purpose of setting up the Sustainability Committee

The PRONEXUS Group's mission is "to contribute to the sustainability of society and the economy as a professional provider of information communication and documentation services," with a special focus on support for disclosure and investor relations in capital markets. Through our business activities, we support capital markets as a kind of "social infrastructure" that connects listed companies, financial product management companies, and others with investors.

As the PRONEXUS Group expands in the future, we believe that our social responsibility, from a sustainability perspective, will become even larger. We have decided to set up the Sustainability Committee for identifying and steadily addressing priority issues based on the characteristics of our business. Using the Group's business operations, we will now be able to better respond to changes in the business environment and social issues, to improve our medium- to long-term growth potential and sustainability, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

2. Role of the Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee, established under the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, is responsible for determining the Group's sustainability policy, performing cross-sectional reviews and verification of initiatives in each department, and reporting to the Board of Directors.

3. Composition of the Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee is chaired by the President and Representative Director and the members include executive officers from every major department.
