Profarma Distribuidora de Produtos Farmacêuticos S.A. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter of 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net income of BRL 1.5 million, BRL 19 million lower than second quarter of 2016. Consolidated sales in the quarter grew 7%. Consolidated EBITDA, excluding Rosário was BRL 23 million, BRL 31 million lower, directly related to the low-price income. CapEx investments were BRL 21 million. Net debt totaled BRL 397 million.

The company expected interest rate for the coming quarters; estimate a reduction of BRL 14 million in financial expenses and around BRL 36 million in 2018, if the baseline tax rate reaches 7.5% at the end of 2017 and in the following years, according to the focused records.
