Presidio Property Trust, Inc. Announces Director Changes

On August 1, 2019, after serving almost 20 years, Thomas E. Schwartz tendered his letter of resignation as a member of the Board of Directors of Presidio Property Trust, Inc., effective August 2, 2019. Mr. Schwartz also served as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Schwartz's resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices. On August 2, 2019, the Board of Directors of the Company elected Laureen E. Ong as a director, effective immediately, to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Schwartz's resignation. Ms. Ong shall serve until the Company's 2020 annual meeting of stockholders or until her successor is duly elected and qualified. She was appointed by the Board of Directors to serve as a member of the Compensation Committee and as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Ms. Ong has been determined by the Board of Directors to satisfy the independence requirements of applicable Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC") rules. Ms. Ong joined the Board of Directors of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in June 2014 and currently serves as a member of its Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Presidio Property Trust, Inc. is an internally managed, diversified real estate investment trust (REIT) with holdings in model home properties which are triple-net leased to homebuilders, office, industrial, and retail properties. The Company's model homes are leased to homebuilders located in Arizona, Illinois, Texas, Wisconsin, and Florida. The Company's office, industrial and retail properties are located primarily in Colorado, with properties also located in Maryland, North Dakota, Texas, and Southern California. The Company acquires and operates properties in three business segments, including Office/Industrial Properties, Model Home Properties and Retail Properties. It owns approximately 12 commercial properties that are located in Colorado, North Dakota, California, Maryland and Texas. It also owns approximately 110 model home properties that are located in five states throughout the United States. Its retail properties include Union Town Center, Research Parkway and Mandolin.
