Pursuant to the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, d.d., Ljubljana and relevant legislation, Pozavarovalnica Sava, d.d., Ljubljana ("Sava Reinsurance Company") hereby announces the following:
Pursuant to the Companies Act, Sava Reinsurance Company is required to remedy its position in treasury shares that it is holding indirectly through its subsidiary Zavarovalnica Maribor, either by withdrawal of such shares, selling of shares or by obtaining authorisation from its general meeting to establish a fund for treasury shares. Based on the above, the Company will propose to its general meeting to be held on 23 April 2014 that a fund for treasury shares be established.
Accordingly, today Sava Reinsurance Company purchased 346.433 lots of POSR shares from Zavarovalnica Maribor. The transaction was executed at today's closing rate of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, i.e. at the price of € 11,245 per share.
After this transaction, Zavarovalnica Maribor no longer held any POSR shares in its portfolio.
This announcement will be available on the Company's website at www.sava-re.si, at least five years from the date of the announcement.
