Paylocity : Federal Contractor Pay Transparency and “Blacklisting” Rules Repealed

On March 27, 2017, President Trump signed a joint resolution, H.J. Res 37, which effectively ends the previous administration's Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Executive Order (EO). Under the Obama EO, federal contractors were required to provide pay statements with specific pay data to workers under federal contracts. The rule, also known as the 'blacklisting rule,' would have required federal contractors to report labor and employment law violations when bidding on contracts of certain sizes.
The 'blacklisting' portion of the rule was under a temporary injunction last October by a federal judge. However, by signing H.J. Res 37, President Trump repeals all of the requirements under the Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces Act; including the Pay Transparency reporting.
