Heidenheim, March 25, 2022. Health care company HARTMANN is announcing price increases in most product categories and markets to compensate the significantly higher costs for raw material, energy and freight that have been hitting the markets for several months.
"We are facing historically high costs for raw material, energy and freight. We do not expect these costs to decrease in the near term. Our goal is to assure ability to supply. Therefore, price increases play an essential role to compensate for the higher costs and assure continued supply ability. We have taken a wide range of productivity actions to improve our efficiency and reduce costs to help offset the strong inflationary challenges and subsequent pricing. We are confident that appropriate measures will ensure our ability to continue to provide the products and services our customers rely on", states the HARTMANN Management Board.
