On May 18, 2021, Passage Bio, Inc. and Dr. Gary Romano, the Company’s Chief Medical Officer, mutually agreed that Dr. Romano will be departing from the Company to pursue other opportunities. Dr. Romano's last day with the Company will be on May 18, 2021. Dr. Eliseo Salinas, who became the Company’s Chief Research and Development Officer as of March 22, 2021, will assume the role of interim CMO.
Passage Bio, Inc. is a clinical-stage genetic medicines company focused on improving the lives of patients with neurodegenerative diseases. Its clinical product candidate, PBFT02, seeks to elevate progranulin levels to restore lysosomal function and slow disease progression across a variety of neurodegenerative diseases.
