Parrot Air Support and Bureau Veritas offer a turnkey drone-based inspection service for professionals

Parrot Air Support, the dedicated Parrot subsidiary focused in particular on drone services for real estate and building industry professionals, and Bureau Veritas, a world leader for inspection, verification and certification services, are presenting the outlines for a new turnkey drone-based inspection service.

Parrot Air Support and Bureau Veritas are offering a solution that makes it easier for businesses to access drone technologies, thanks to an on-demand service that covers everything with a simplified approach: online ordering, recruitment of a certified drone pilot, organization of the mission, treatment and analysis of the data, and delivery in a secure online space as 3D maps and photos.

Parrot and Bureau Veritas share the same vision for drones to quickly, exhaustively and reliably collect data on a very wide scale. This system is aligned with the major transformation facing industries today: big data and digitalization. Businesses need the data collected in this way to oversee their activities and manage their risks. The missions that can now be carried out more quickly and safely with drones and that Parrot Air Support and/or Bureau Veritas have already worked on include: inspecting the roof of a Seveso- rated secure gas storage site, checking wind turbine blades at a height of 100 meters in an area that is obviously very windy, taking photos and producing 3D models of various factories and buildings, conducting energy inspections of buildings with an infrared camera, or even mapping thousands of kilometers of roads, railways or electricity networks throughout France.
