Carl A. Mayfield Joins in Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. as Executive Vice President Design & Construction

Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. announced that Carl A. Mayfield has joined the company as Executive Vice President Design & Construction effective September 17, 2018. Mr. Mayfield will report directly to Thomas J. Baltimore, Jr., Park’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mayfield joins in the company following 14 years as the Senior Vice President of Design & Construction at RLJ Lodging Trust (“RLJ”) where he was an integral member of the senior management team. During his time at RLJ, Mr. Mayfield was responsible for providing enterprise leadership to RLJ’s project management team and overseeing all phases of capital projects. His responsibilities included disaster remediation, energy management and conservation strategies, physical due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, brand coordination, contracting and capital execution. He also provided leadership on all aspects of development projects which included programming, planning, entitlements, budgeting, and public-private partnerships. Mr. Mayfield serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross of the National Capital Region and the Montgomery County Boys and Girls Club. He is also an executive mentor to graduate students at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
