Park Electrochemical Corp. (NYSE:PKE) announced that Erik Bergum has been appointed to the position of Vice President of New Product Marketing for the Company. Mr. Bergum will report to Chris Mastrogiacomo, the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, who has responsibility for the Company's global marketing efforts.

Mr. Bergum joined Park Electrochemical Corp. on January 13, 2014 as Director of OEM Marketing. During the two years prior to joining Park, Mr. Bergum provided consulting services in marketing, strategic planning and budgeting focusing on the electronics and materials industries. From 2008 to 2011, he was Vice President, Assembly Materials Division, Americas of Heraeus GmbH of Hanau, Germany, a privately owned company engaged in a wide range of businesses, including precious metals, electronics and medical technology. From 1990 to 2007, he held a variety of positions with Isola S.A.R.L. and the Polyclad Division of Cookson Group PLC, both global manufacturers of electronics materials, including Director of Marketing of Isola in Franklin, New Hampshiire from 2006 to 2007, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Polyclad in Perstorp, Sweden from 2003 to 2006, Vice President of Marketing of Polyclad in Franklin, New Hampshire from 1999 to 2003 and several technical services positions at Polyclad in Franklin, New Hampshire from 1990 to 1999. Prior to 1990, he held various engineering positions with General Electric, Electromaterials Division in 1989 and 1990, with Bureau of Engraving, a manufacturer of printed circuit boards, in 1988 and 1989 and with Advance Circuits, Inc. from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Bergum received Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota.
