Oxiquim plans to expand two of its terminals in Chile. One project will build a bulk-solids terminal in Quintero, Valparaiso province. The terminal will export copper concentrate and import cement, corn and wheat. Oxiquim is in the process of completing permitting for the expansion. The company should complete the permitting in the first quarter. After permitting, Oxiquim will start the engineering and bidding process. Construction should start a couple of years from now, and it should take two years to complete. The company also plans to build a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) sphere at its terminal in Mejillones in the northern province of Antofagasta. The sphere will be the first in Mejillones, and it will have a capacity of 10,000 cubic metres. Oxiquim also has a 50,000 cubic metre sphere at Quintero.
