Orascom Construction PLC announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 868.4 million compared to USD 791.2 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 36.9 million compared to USD 23.8 million a year ago. Net income was USD 23.8 million compared to USD 9.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.2 compared to USD 0.08 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 1,685 million compared to USD 1,618.8 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 76.9 million compared to USD 76.1 million a year ago. Net income was USD 47.7 million compared to USD 34.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.41 compared to USD 0.3 a year ago.
