Since July 2009, thanks to its partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Orange has linked its brand name to African football, becoming the official partner of the six major CAF competitions until 2016. Orange is also the "new media" partner, thanks to exclusive broadcasting rights for mobile content in Africa until 2016, and it has exclusive TV and mobile broadcasting rights in France until 2012.

With all these venues, Orange is boosting the deployment of its content strategy, gaining broad visibility by adding a pan-African dimension to its brand.
