OMV Petrom S.A. announces the appointment of Katja Tautscher as interim member of the Supervisory Board effective as of 1st of January 2023 and until the next General Meeting of Shareholders, following Johann Pleininger's waiver of his mandate as member and Deputy President of the Supervisory Board, as well as member and Deputy President of the Presidential and Nomination Committee of OMV Petrom S.A.
At the same time, also effective starting 1st of January 2023, Martijn van Koten becomes Deputy President of the Supervisory Board and member and Deputy President of the Presidential and Nomination Committee of OMV Petrom S.A.
Katja Tautscher graduated in law (Magister iuris) from University of Vienna, Law Faculty, Vienna, Austria. She is member of the Austrian Bar Association since 2001 and admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales since 2005. In 1996 - 2006 she worked in different positions in prestigious law firms such as Clifford Chance (Dusseldorf), Allen & Overy Attorneys at Law (London, UK), Wolf Theiss Attorneys at Law (Vienna, Austria and Ljubljana, Slovenia). Her most recent position was as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Borealis AG, Vienna, Austria and since June 2022, Katja Tautscher became the SVP General Counsel of OMV Aktiengesellschaft.
