The 18th Ooredoo Goodwill Journey came to a successful close, leaving many people with smiles on their faces and warm hearts. The flagship Corporate Social Responsibility programme saw volunteers travelling across North and South Al-Batinah, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Sharqiya and Dhofar in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development, the Omani Women's Associations charity teams and Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children. the team distributed food items, appliances and gifts to support the youth, the elderly, people in hospitals and children with disabilities.

Ibrahim Saeed Salim Al Kindi, a social activist and one of the Ooredoo Goodwill journey volunteers said, "this is my second-year volunteering for the Ooredoo Goodwill Journey, it really fills me with happiness to be able to support those who are in need. It makes it even more special that it's done during the Holy month of Ramadan where even when the day feels challenging, I remind myself that the reward is much sweeter and its always important to pass it forward."

Essa bin Musalam Al Nabhani, a Goodwill Journey volunteer shared insight of his experience, "The Ooredoo Goodwill Journey is all about bringing the community together and uplifting each other. At the end of the day, we are one, and the purpose of this initiative is to remind each of us that we have each other's backs. It was such an honor to be part of this journey and it filled me with joy knowing that I was able to give back to those who are in need and make a difference to their lives."

Khalsa Saeed Al Toby, Head of the Omani Women's Association in Mana'h and a Goodwill Journey volunteer, said, "This year's Goodwill Journey really brought to life the theme of 'Kareema ya Oman' proving how generous the people of the country truly are. I want to thank Ooredoo for its continuous efforts in supporting communities through initiatives such as their incubator programmes, in line with Oman's 2040 vision."

Marking the close of the Journey, the Ooredoo family celebrated Qaranqasho at Wafa Centre for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Children in Amerat that under the Ministry of Social Development. The event was held under the auspices of the Honorable Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish, Chairperson of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC. While Noor Al Sulaiti, Ooredoo's CEO, welcomed back the volunteers who took her on a tour to see the carpentry room, computer lab and sensory learning room that they had installed, in additional to opening three other sensory skills rooms in other Al Wafa Centers in Al Khaboura, Nizwa and Ibri.

The Goodwill Journey continues to enrich the lives of people across Oman by providing them vital supplies and sustainable support.
