Odyssey HealthCare, Inc. (NASDAQ: ODSY), one of the largest providers of hospice care in the United States, today announced that it expects to report fully diluted earnings per share attributable to Odyssey stockholders of $0.39 to $0.41 for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010. The Company expects to report full results on July 28, 2010; however, due to its previously announced acquisition by Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: GTIV), the Company will not be hosting a conference call in connection with second quarter results.

The Company also announced that, during the second quarter, it redeemed at par the remaining $13 million of auction rate securities held by the Company.
