Odico is excited to share their role in the prestigious Fehmarn Belt project. Collaborating alongside with the Joint Venture, Femern Link Contractors (FLC), bringing specialized formwork inserts to bridge columns, an important element in the project.

Utilizing advanced robotic and digital fabrication techniques, the formwork inserts capture precision at its core. Every design nuance, down to the strength of anchor rods, is thoughtfully integrated. The prominent "DB2" bridge column is a canvas of the craftsmanship, showcasing one of the project's concrete surfaces.

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the Joint Venture in charge of the Design & Construction of the immersed tunnel (Tunnel North Contract & Tunnel South Contract), the tunnel portals and ramps (Tunnel Portal and Ramps Contract).

Company Profile
Odico A/S is a Denmark-based formwork technology developer. The Company manufactures formwork for the construction and wind turbine industries. The Company's technologies comprise Factory-On-The-Fly, which performs a range of different manufacturing tasks - from formwork production to reinforcement bending to sheet cutting; Robotic Hot-wire cutting utilizes a robotically controlled, electrically heated wire to cut through industrial foams, replicating the geometry by a given computer-aided design model; Robotic Hot-Blade cutting technology manipulates the shape of the blade as it cuts; robotic clay cutting and coating technologies, as well as robotic milling and abrasive cutting solutions, among others.
