Northrop Grumman Corp. plans to lay off 38 more Colorado Springs employees - more fallout from losing a key contract to a competitor for work at a local Air Force base. The company notified the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment on Jan. 15 that it would notify the workers Jan. 18 that they will be 'subject to termination March 19' if they hadn't found another job with the company. Layoff notices had been sent earlier to another 100 Northrop Grumman employees in the Springs: 15 who were to be laid off by Jan. 4, and 85 who will lose their jobs by March 4 if they don't find other company jobs.
