NECKARSULM, GERMANY, May 3rd, 2017: Nordson Corporation has named Gulf Application Engineering and Packaging (GAEP) to represent the Xaloy® range of plasticizing system components in the Middle East.

GAEP will provide sales, support service, and spare parts for Xaloy extrusion and injection molding screws, barrels, and front end components in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, and Oman.

GAEP only recently became the Middle East representative for Nordson's BKG® range of pelletizers, melt filtration systems, gear pumps, and valves. The addition of Xaloy products to GAEP's responsibilities opens new opportunities for customers, according to Ralf Hilbert, managing director of Nordson's Xaloy business in Europe.

'By representing both BKG and Xaloy brands, GAEP will serve as a single source in the Middle East for multiple melt processing components essential for extrusion and injection molding,' said Mr. Hilbert. 'The company is well prepared to provide localized support that can help customers increase productivity, enhance product quality, and maximize automation.'

GAEP will work closely with Nordson Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) regional sales managers, who have a good knowledge of the industries and customer base in the countries to be served by GAEP. Spare parts will be stocked at GAEP's warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone located in the United Arab Emirates.

GAEP has represented other Nordson businesses since 1989, including fluid dispensing and application systems, in the Middle East and West Africa. Founded in 1989, GAEP has a staff of 50. Both GAEP in Dubai and SE-TECH in Riyadh can be reached via email at admin@gaepme.ae. Telephone in Dubai: +971-4-8815331. Telephone in Riyadh: +966-11-4743012. Visit www.gaepme.ae.
