nLIGHT Corporation agreed to acquire Arbor Photonics, Inc. from The Frankel Commercialization Fund L.P. and The Wolverine Venture Fund, L.P. of Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Endowment Arm and other investors on December 25, 2012. nLIGHT raised $3 million in capital related to the deal.

nLIGHT, Inc. is a provider of semiconductor and fiber lasers for industrial, microfabrication, and aerospace and defense applications. The Company operates through two segments: Laser Products, and Advanced Development. It designs, manufactures, and sells a range of high-power semiconductor lasers and fiber lasers that are integrated into laser systems or manufacturing tools built by its customers. Its products include Semiconductor Lasers, Fiber Lasers, Laser Sensing Products, and Directed Energy Products.
