Unison Co. Ltd. (KOSE:A018000) agreed to acquire remaining 48.94% stake in Kounison Holdings Limited from Newpower Plasma Co. Ltd. and others for KRW 9.1 billion in cash on October 10, 2012.
Unison owns 62.7 million shares in Kounison and will acquire remaining 60.08 million shares in Kounison leading to a 100% holding in Kounison. The Board of Directors of Unison passed resolution on October 10, 2012. The transaction is expected to close on December 20, 2012.
