National CineMedia, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 29, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 14.8 million compared to USD 67.1 million a year ago. Net income was USD 545.3 million compared to net loss of USD 0.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 31.3 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 31.3 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.1 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 49.7 million compared to USD 103 million a year ago. Net income was USD 499.8 million compared to net loss of USD 25.9 million a year ago. Its platform consists of more than 18,400 screens in over 1,400 theaters in 190 Designated Market Areas. It presents multiple formats of The Noovie Show depending on the theater circuit in which it runs, including Post-Showtime advertising inventory after the advertised showtime.
