Al-Nadi Al-Burhani School, Karachi Grammar School and Habib Public School beat their respective rivals in the NBP Inter-School Cricket tournament being organized by National Bank of Pakistan, played at National Bank Sports Complex. In the first match of the day Al-Nadi Al-Burhani school beat Usman Public School by 6 wickets. Batting first Usman Public were bowled out for a paltry 83 runs with none of its players entering the double figures. Abbas Mohammad bagged 4 for 12 while Ali Asghar captured 3 foor 22. The Academy School by 125 runs. Batting first af ter winning the toss, KGS scored 166 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs with Daniyal Shahid top scoring with a fine 54 off 40 balls. He slammed six fours and three sixes. Bilal Siddiqui and Tahir Baig captured two wickets each. In reply The Academy School folded up for just 41 in 12 overs as Sameer wrecked their innings with 6 for 16. Saqib took 2 for 16. In the third Habib Public School beat SOS School by 98 runs in the third match of the day. Batting first, Habib Public scored 181 for 7 with Uliyan Rahim scoring 45 off 26 balls with one six and four fours. Nabeel Ayaz bagged 3 wickets for 10 runs. In reply, SOS School were bowled out for just 83 in 14.3 overs. Ali Hamza captured 3 for 17. Umpires Wasif Jamil, Shahid Aslam, Rashid Khan and Junaid Afzal while the scorers Khayam Mustafa and Burhan Ahmed performed.
