National Bank Named One of the Best Employers in Quebec, Most Recognized to Date

Montreal, 29 January 2014 -

National Bank is proud to once again be ranked among the Best Employers in Quebec as part of the 2014 edition of this survey. This year, it is also being recognized as the organization that has made the list the most times since it was first created.

Conducted by Aon Hewitt, the opinion survey on which this ranking is based measures employee engagement and perception of senior management, the efficiency of human resources management, productivity boosting initiatives, as well as employee recognition and appreciation.

In 2013, 280 organizations participated and nearly 190,000 employees completed the survey. The viewpoints of employees from all levels and sectors of the organizations were surveyed, providing an overview of the current situation and clearly indicating what aspects companies needed to focus on to increase employee engagement.

"At National Bank, we are committed to advancing our human resources management practices, by being attentive to the needs of our employees, and focusing on diversity as well as professional development. Adapting our work environment to make it more respectful, stimulating and rewarding is of primary importance to us," explained Lynn Jeanniot, Executive Vice-President - Human Resources and Corporate Affairs. "We are therefore very pleased to, once again, have our organization's commitment recognized among the best in Quebec."
