Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre expanded
its fleet of vehicles with 41 pieces:
19 UAZ vehicles for crews, five drilling and crane
vehicles, two tracked cross-country vehicles, five vans,
eight autohydraulic hoists, two GAZ vehicles for crews
were distributed in Districts of Electrical
Networks (DEN) of the branch.
The acquisition of drilling and crane vehicles
is still necessary in terms of the
territorial conditions of the Tver region. They are
designed to drill wells to a depth
of 3 meters. The high drilling intensity
is one of the main advantages of this
model. The technical performance of the vehicle when
working on the ground is not less than
15 meters per hour. The application of the best
domestic and foreign components, the use of modern
technologies of assembly gives a guarantee
of failure-free performance, even in difficult
climatic conditions.
Important for the power engineers was the purchase
of UAZ vehicles with a shelter, more modern and
safer analog of UAZ. The four-wheel drive enhanced
comfort car combines high operational performance and
ergonomic features. The vehicle will reduce the time
to deliver operational and maintenance crews
to power lines and other power facilities
in the track and off-road conditions. The main
criterion for purchase was to improve the safety and
comfort. Another car, proven in terms of bad
roads and even cross-country, was GAZ "Sadko". The car
has a loading platform with folding tailgate that
could take up to two tons of cargo. This
is a special designed vehicle as mobile
workshop units, for preventive maintenance and
liquidation of emergency situations. The well-proven
among the Russian users vehicle has excellent dynamic
performance and good cross-country ability. Due
to the cross-axle differentials of increased
friction GAZ can overcome serious obstacles.
The GAZ tracked cross-country vehicles, acquired
by the branch, will be capable
of operation and outside storage
at temperatures from
