Mostotrest will be acting as the general contractor for the construction of the project «Segment of the Moscow-Saint Petersburg Highway (North Belt Road). Festivalnaya Street - Dmitrovskoye Avenue Segment». Project customer: Construction Department of the City of Moscow; project designer: GradInzhProject. The contract value is RUB24.5 billion (including VAT); scheduled completion: within 33 months at the latest.

The project envisages construction of 4 overpasses with a total length of more than 3 km, with pillars of up to 19 m and roadway width of up 30 m, as well as 3 exits, two parallel six-lane bridges across the Likhoborka river, two railway overpasses on a junction line of the Oktyabrskaya Railway; construction of more than 10 km of roads, including the main roadway (3-4 lanes in each direction), exits from traffic interchanges; reconstruction of the adjacent road network; construction of an underground pedestrian crossing; installation of soundproof windows in adjacent residential buildings; and construction of wastewater treatment facilities.

Festivalnaya Street - Dmitrovskoye Avenue segment will become a Class 1 core city road for continuous traffic, provide an exit onto M-11 Moscow - St. Petersburg Highway from Dmitrovskoye Avenue, and in the future will also provide access to Yaroslavskoye Avenue and Akademika Koroleva Street. In addition, the new road segment will redistribute traffic flows across the radial roads at the approaches to the Moscow Ring Road, easing their traffic load.
