Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (NYSE:MEG) acquired Engineering & Technical Associates, Inc. (ETA) on April 1, 2024. .ETA will join Montrose?s Assessment, Permitting & Response segment. Niehaus Law acted as legal advisor to Engineering & Technical Associates, Inc.
Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (NYSE:MEG) completed the acquisition of Engineering & Technical Associates, Inc. (ETA) for $2 million on April 1, 2024. Under the transaction, Montrose acquired substantially all of the assets of ETA for a purchase price of $2 million, of which $1.6 million was funded with cash on hand, and the remaining $0.4 million will be paid as deferred consideration in Montrose' common stock in 2025.
Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. is an environmental solutions company focused on supporting commercial and government organizations. Its segment includes Assessment, Permitting and Response, Measurement and Analysis, and Remediation and Reuse. Assessment, Permitting and Response segment provides scientific advisory and consulting services to support environmental assessments, environmental emergency response, and environmental audits and permits for operations, facility upgrades, new projects, decommissioning projects and development projects. Measurement and Analysis segment includes source and ambient air testing and monitoring, leak detection and repair and advanced analytical laboratory services such as air, storm water, wastewater and drinking water analysis. Remediation and Reuse segment provides clients with engineering, design, and implementation services to treat contaminated water. This segment also offers regulatory services to the oil and gas, and renewables sectors.
