Herman Miller, Inc. announced that on May 16, 2019, the board of directors accepted the resignation of Brenda Freeman as a director. In accordance with the company’s Board Governance Guidelines, Ms. Freeman submitted her resignation as the result of her change in occupation. Ms. Freeman’s resignation as a director will be effective May 31, 2019.

The Company's segments include Americas Contract, International Contract & Specialty, and Global Retail. The Americas Contract segment includes the operations associated with the design, manufacture and sale of furniture products directly or indirectly through an independent dealership network for office, healthcare, and educational environments throughout North and South America. The International Contract & Specialty segment includes the operations associated with the design, manufacture and sale of furniture products, directly or indirectly through an independent dealership network.
