Microsoft has won a firm-fixed-price contract worth $34.4 million to provide consulting support services for information technology network of the U.S. Air Force. Microsoft will be assisting the Air Force mature the company-designed technologies the military branch purchased under a joint enterprise license agreement. Work will take place at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Alabama through Dec. 31, 2020. During award, the Air Force obligated $3 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
