Medius Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:3154) agreed to acquire Makoto Medical Systems Inc. from Ayumi Morohira on October 24, 2023. Medius Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:3154) signed an agreement to acquire 65% in Makoto Medical Systems Inc. from Ayumi Morohira for ¥310 million on February 21, 2024. Makoto Medical Systems reported Total revenue of ¥7.1 billion, Total assets of ¥2.75 million, EBIT of ¥52 million, Total Common equity of ¥536 million and Net loss of ¥21 million on April 2023. Transaction is expected to complete on March 1, 2024.

MEDIUS HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the sale and maintenance of medical equipment, as well as the sale and rental of nursing care equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Medical Equipment Sales segment sells medical equipment to domestic healthcare facilities, such as hospitals. The Care and Welfare business segment is engaged in sales and rental of nursing care equipment purchased from Japanese nursing and welfare equipment manufacturers, agents, trading companies, to medical institutions such as domestic hospitals and general individuals. In addition, the Company is also engaged in sales of nursing care and welfare equipment purchased from domestic and foreign manufacturers to medical institutions such as hospitals and medical material dealers.
