Maeda Kosen Co., Ltd. (TSE:7821) agreed to acquire DAIICHI Co.,Ltd. from the President, Manpei Ishizaki and six other individuals on October 2, 2014. Manpei Ishizaki will sell 56.9% stake corresponding to 56,923 shares and others will sell 43,077 shares. DAIICHI Co had total assets, net assets, revenue, operating profit and net profit of ¥730.84 million, ¥238.55 million, ¥924.22 million, ¥27.61 million and ¥5.02 million respectively for the financial year ending March 31, 2014. The transaction was resolved by Board of Directors of Maeda Kosen. The transaction is expected to close on October 20, 2014.
