M8 Sustainable Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Rodney Illingworth to the board of the company as a non-executive director, effective 19 October 2022. The board of the company now comprises of three non-executive directors, one of whom is independent and the other being Managing Director Tom Rudas. Mr. Illingworth is not considered to be an independent Director of the Board, as he is a director and shareholder of Adroit Capital Group ESG Pty Ltd, which is a major shareholder of M8S (holding approximately 13.02% of the issued share capital) following the placement announced on 3 October 2022.

Mr. Illingworth is also a director and shareholder of Reforme Special Situation Pty Ltd, which entered into a $4M Convertible Note facility with the company announced on 6 October 2022. Mr. Illingworth is an experienced executive and director who has a wealth of experience and understanding in the development and construction of mining ventures, management of successful mining operations and logistics management across several sectors. Mr. Illingworth specialises in green field resources projects, driving revenue growth and leading innovation.

Mr. Illingworth has invaluable business and executive networks across the Northern Territory and Western Australia and expertise in handling Native Title and Indigenous matters. The appointment of Mr. Illingworth comes at an exciting stage for M8S, with the company nearing completion of construction at its Gingin Landfill Facility (Gingin), with commercial operations on track to occur in first quarter 2023.
