Login People joins the FIDO Alliance alongside major international players in order to establish universal authentication standard

Login People, a French vendor of innovative multi-factor authentication solutions designed to protect access to private and public networks, is announcing its membership to the FIDO Alliance (Fast Identity Online). An American association founded in 2013, the FIDO Alliance's mission is to promote multi-factor authentication solutions through replacing the traditional username-password dynamic and to remedy problems related to interoperability between systems. For this purpose, the association has put standards in place for implementing a set of open, interoperable multi-factor authentication mechanisms with the aim of securing access for all network users. By joining the FIDO Alliance, Login People is now part of the most influential international Access Security coalition and will contribute to the fortification and improvement of user protection across the Web.

In today's world, security breaches stemming from stolen passwords, malware and phishing put both individuals and businesses at great risk of identity theft and open access to personal, financial and strategic information. With the rise of the digital economy and an increasing reliance on connected devices, the IT, Cloud and Mobile industries have united within the FIDO Alliance to address the lack of interoperability in authentication products, as well as the problems that arise when users enter their login credentials. In order to do so, the alliance has united prestigious companies such as PayPal, Google, Microsoft, MasterCard and Lenovo to collaborate on simpler, stronger authentication standards.

Based on FIDO standards, this approach will allow users to replace their password by more secure authentication methods that are easy-to-use and respect their personal privacy. FIDO's specifications will provide an extensive line of secure, interoperable authentication technologies, including Login People's Digital DNA® solution. These new standards in Device, Plugin and Web Navigation Security will further allow Cloud-based websites and applications to interface with a multitude of both existing and future FIDO-compatible devices in order to ensure users' online security. Now with FIDO compatibility of its patented Digital DNA® technology, Login People has reinforced its reputation as a revolutionary French player in the use of multi-factor authentication to secure public and private networks in both Mobile and Cloud environments.

Frank Triplet, Business Development Director for Login People elaborates: "We are very proud to count ourselves among this organization's prestigious members and to contribute to the establishment of universal authentication standards. FIDO's mission is very much in line with Login People's own innovation strategy: provide our clients value-added authentication solutions through simplicity and interoperability in order to standardize access security for all end-users, no matter what device, no matter where. For us, this also represents a growing international recognition of the added value our Digital DNA® technology delivers." »

« "We are excited to welcome our newest associate member Login People," said Michael Barrett, FIDO Alliance President and PayPal Chief Information Security Officer. "The FIDO vision of universal strong authentication promises better security, enhanced privacy, more commerce and expansion of services throughout digital industries. Login People's addition to our Alliance supports our industry goal to make user authentication easier and safer for all parties."/p>

François Le Page, President and CEO of Login People concludes "Through collaboration with its members, the FIDO Alliance allows us to expand our growth prospects by integrating our technology throughout the entire value chain of a company's IT Infrastructure, from low-level routers to public multi-layer Clouds. This is also an excellent opportunity for us to introduce simplicity in security, a value intrinsic to our Digital DNA® solution, especially in a business environment where securing access to connected things that collect and communicate personal and sensitive data is an imperative."
