Lightstone Value Plus Real Estate Investment Trust II, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced operating loss was USD 3.170 million compared to operating Income of USD 2.022 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 4.979 million compared to USD 52,000 a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.29. For the nine months, operating loss was USD 9.985 million compared to operating Income of USD 5.387 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 15.959 million compared to USD 1.294 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.92 compared to USD 0.07 a year ago.
Lightstone Value Plus REIT II, Inc. is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is structured as an umbrella partnership REIT (UPREIT). The Company owns and operates commercial properties and makes real estate-related investments. The Company has primarily acquired and operated commercial hospitality properties, principally consisting of limited service hotels all located in the United States. Its commercial holdings may also consist of full-service hotels, and to a lesser extent, retail (primarily multi-tenanted shopping centers), industrial and office properties. It owns and operates approximately 10 limited service hotels containing a total of 1,352 rooms. Five of its consolidated limited service hotels are held through LVP Holdco JV LLC (the Hotel Joint Venture). The Company's advisor is Lightstone Value Plus REIT II LLC.
